Women in Business Workshop- Basic SEO- Wednesday May 3rd 6:30-8:30PM

Our Women in Business Mixer has been great opportunities to think outside the box in working together but now we need to put in the work. This is where our workshop series comes in. Our first course is going to be on basic search engine optimization.

This basic SEO class is designed to you with a foundational understanding of search engine optimization (SEO), which is a key practice of optimizing a website to rank higher in search engine results pages (SERPs).

During the class, students will learn about the key principles of SEO, including keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, and technical SEO. They will also learn how search engines work and how to use various tools to analyze website traffic, track keyword rankings, and identify opportunities for optimization.

The class will include a mix of lectures, hands-on exercises, and case studies to help students apply their learning in real-world scenarios. By the end of the class, students will have a basic understanding of SEO best practices and how to apply them to improve website visibility and drive more traffic to their website.

This class is suitable for business owners or anyone who wants to gain a foundational understanding of SEO and improve their website's search engine rankings. No prior SEO experience is necessary.

To participate in this course, you MUST have a website and a laptop. If you are an etsy seller, this course will help with product listings but I do not feel this course will be as helpful if you have no plans in taking your product or service off another selling platform. We will be providing internet access and a workspace for us to work side by side using my website as a real life example in my work flow.
